According to a report from MMA Junkie, It has been confirmed that Sterling and Sundzen will bid farewell to the Octagon in June, however, the UFC Bantamweight Championship will not be fought.
Cory Sandhagen vs. Alzheimer’s Sterling in UNF 250’s works
Aljamin Sterling is currently on a four-fight winning streak at the UFC and is looking to extend his winning run to five. The ‘funk master’ report is reported to have entered the octagon in June for a clash against Cory Sandhagen in the pay-view at UFC 250.
The fight has not yet been confirmed through publicity but the UFC is reportedly trying its best to put together a stacked card for their next event considering the amount of success achieved in the three UFC Jacksonville events.
Like Sterling, his rival Sandhagan has been on a seven-fight winning streak since beating Rafael Asunkao in UFC 241 in August and is pushing for a big fight in the UFC’s Bantamweight division.
When is the UFC 250?
The UFC 250 is scheduled for June 6, 2020 and will mark the return of Amanda Nunes, as she prepares to defend her title against Felicia Spencer in the main event of The Lions show. The card has the presence of Corey Sandegen opposite Aljamin Sterling, the report said.
