Watford have confirmed that the young Frenchman will join a free transfer from Le Havre on behalf of international Pep Guy League 2 in July.
Guy, a defensive midfielder who came through Le Havre’s academy, has signed a contract in France from July 1, ending in June, until 2025.
The 21-year-old has represented France at the Under-19 level and is said to have tracked numerous top-notch clubs across Europe, including Arsenal and Milan.
The Gunners were even said to be close to agreeing a deal for Guy in February, but the midfielder will move to Vicarage Road instead.
A statement from Watford confirmed that its pre-contract agreement had already been “filed with all relevant authorities”.
