Brescia forward Mario Balotelli has revealed he would love to play for Serie A side Napoli.
Balotelli joined the hometown club Brescia in August last year, but was associated with moving to Napoli.
Former AC Milan, Inter and Liverpool forward have said that he tried to join Napoli and suggested he still want to move to Studios San Paulo.
“I’ve tried it [to join Napoli], “Balotelli told Fabio Cannavaro during an Instagram live chat on Monday.
“I’m going to have a great time in Naples. I would make my daughter head high. She would support Napoli.
“I sing to him ‘Brescia, Brescia,’ but he continues to support Napoli. When I took him to San Paolo, he was very happy, he was hypnotized.
“Entering San Paulo is always a good feeling, though I think the most beautiful stadium is Sir Siro”
Balotelli scored five goals in 19 Serie A games this season when the campaign was postponed due to a coronavirus epidemic.
৩ Balotelli, 29, a 36-time Italy international, last played for the national team on May 28, 2018 and said he wanted to return, honoring coach Roberto Mancini.
“I have a special relationship with him,” he said.
“If you think I’m not supposed to be in the national team, I’m glad because I know that if you call me, you wouldn’t do that to sit me on the bench.
“You’ve just said who deserves it the most. I’ll be there and play on the day I deserve it.”
