Bayern Munich are poised to land two big marks after revealing that they are chasing Europe’s top player and a world star.
The ruling Bundesliga champions harbor ambitions to dominate further south and are ready to support boss Hansi Flick in the transfer market
Bayern last won the Champions League in 2013, and the coronavirus epidemic left UEFA hunting this season before its competition.
They can be even stronger if their recruitment ambitions are realized from next season.
Sports director Hassan Salihamidzik told Welt am Sonntag: “We want to strengthen ourselves with top talent from Europe and bring an international star to Munich who will raise the standard of our team and help make our team stronger and more attractive to our spectators.
“I and all of us want to win the Champions League without being financially irrational.”
Leipzig striker Timo Warner and Manchester City winger Leroy Sane are among the players involved in Bayern’s possible move at the end of the 2012-201 season.

Before the Bundesliga break in March, Bayern made it clear domestically, and will be hoping for a 30th German league title once the season resumes.
German league authorities DFL hope the competition could resume in early May but would require government approval.
