Last week, more than 20 superstars were released Of the WWE Their stuffing headcount and a mass to reduce costs later on. An article on the WWE website names several superstars, Deona Purazo Silently went to the alumni section before confirming his release via Twitter.
I recently had the pleasure of talking to the former NXT superstar and the Fujiwara Armbar expert told me how he was blown away by the support he showed after announcing his departure from the WWE, as well as discussions over the past few months.

Hi Dono! So, you were released from your NXT contract this week. I almost said “I’m sorry” but you never want to get caught, so let me ask – was it sad? Did it come out of the blue like everyone else?
I won’t say it’s sad because I somehow knew, in my mind, I was going to get a call last week. It’s not what I expected because I’ve been dissatisfied with what I’ve been doing at NXT for the last six or so months – and I’ve let people in the office know.
We had a conversation where I said, if nothing happens to me, I should rather give up. I think, overall, I really was … I was definitely scared to ask for a direct release but, once they fired me, it was kind of like, “Oh, that’s what I wanted.” I was never scared of him. Exciting times I look forward to more than sadness.
There was no announcement of NXT release. Do you know why? Were you upset or upset about it?
I don’t know if they’re letting the NXT people go, and when I got the call they still haven’t announced to anyone from the NXT – so I don’t know if I’m the first or I’m the last – but I just thought, “Screw it, I’ll announce it myself.” I’m going to do it and maybe I’ll be one step ahead of them in that and it will be on my terms. “
So, yes, I don’t know. I don’t know if they will make a statement about it but a bunch of people were released there and I think, according to the elimination process everyone was the same kind of people who saw it, but yes, it was kind of weird not to announce it.
