The most surprising name on WWE’s list of veterans is veteran referee Mike Chioda. Chiyoda was the longest-running referee in the company’s history, having been there for more than three decades, and a widely recognized figure to many fans.
Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmela Responding to a tweet about Chiauder’s release through a fan, he says he’ll miss an experienced referee who is involved in 2018, adding a joke about his cash-for-money effort:
Mike Chiodar’s first WWE appearance dates back to 1989 He He has delivered a number of iconic matches over a 30-year company career. These include Wrestle vs. Hogan WrestleMania, Big Show vs. Brooke Lesnar (the match where the ring broke) and John Cena against The Rock at WrestleMania 20.
