Former England and Arsenal defender Kenny Sansom has been hospitalized after falling ill.
Admission to the 611-year-old hospital was confirmed via his Twitter account on Friday, as the carnivirus declined as a cause and no further details were given.
“Kenny is currently in the hospital. He is receiving good care and does not have a Cavid-19,” a tweet was sent.
“Kenny’s family and close friends urge the media to respect him and their privacy, as well as health care workers treating Kenny.”

Sunsom played 7 games for England in the 1970s and 80s, when he enjoyed a long match at Arsenal as a player.
He joined Arsenal from Crystal Palace in 1970, and later made about 400 appearances for the Gunners before playing for Newcastle United, QPR, Coventry City, Everton, Brentford and Watford.
