US President Donald Trump says he is tired of watching a 14-year-old baseball game come back to the sport following the coronavirus epidemic.
Covid-1 brings sports around the world to a standstill – the NBA, NHL, MLS, PGA Tour and NASCAR seasons were among the stagnant, while the MLB campaign was pushed back to the beginning and concerns the NFL.
The Olympic Games have been postponed until 2021, due to the Euro 2020 and the Copa America Coronavirus, which has killed more than 126,500 people worldwide and more than 26,000 people in the United States.
Addressing COVID-19 and the sports speech on Tuesday, Trump told reporters: “In sport – we want to bring back our sports so importantly.
“We need to get our games back. I’m tired of watching a 14-year-old baseball game. But I didn’t really have much time to watch.
“I’d say I probably see a batter and then I’m back to work.”
Trump has also released an advisory group that will help restart the US economy.
The group includes NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, NHL Commissioner Gary Bateman, UFC President Vince McMahon, New England Patriots owner Robert Kleuf and Robert Kraff. .
