Donnie van de Beek’s agent insisted that he was unaware of the future of the Ajax midfielder, adding that there was still a lot of interest in the Netherlands international.
Van de Beek has been linked with a move away from the Eredivisie Giants, with Real Madrid and Manchester United reported.
Guido Albers, a 22-year-old agent, says the relocation may be different in the market after the Coron virus epidemic, but Van De Beek’s future is not a concern.
“Everything will be different, but I also have to be realistic,” he told Voetball International on Tuesday.
“It also creates opportunities in clubs that they probably thought they had no chance of and now they knock on the door.
“I’m not worried about Donnie.”
Albers declined to divulge details of which club Van de Beek wanted, but said he was interested.
“The interest has been around for a long time and from a number of clubs,” he said.
“We’ll see what comes out of it in the coming weeks. At the moment, I don’t dare say anything about it.
“I can’t say anything because some things are just confidential. The situation at every club has changed, and we need to take a closer look at it.”
