Kylian Mbappe has been confirmed as the Ligue 1 gold boot winner for 2019-20 following his decision to end the season.
League officials decided last week to bring the campaign ahead of schedule after French authorities announced they would not hold any sports events until September due to the coronavirus epidemic.
Paris Saint-Germain topped the table with 12 points from Marseille after the tournament was suspended.
Mbappe was the joint leading scorer in the level division with Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder with 16 goals.
However, Ligue 1 confirmed through its official website on Thursday that Mbappe would be recognized as the top scorer of the season for all of his goals coming into the open game, with Ben Yedder having three penalties.
Mbappe’s game-per-game ratio was also higher, with 18 of his 20 games coming in, with Ben Yedar scoring his 25 runs.
Lyon forward Mausa Dembele is third with 116 goals.
Mbappe won the Golden Boot last year, scoring 33 times in 29 league games, along with winning the PSG title.
