Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and their Barcelona teammates returned to training on Friday.
The squad was medically tested and after inspecting the Ciutat Esportiva, Bar্সa was allowed to begin separate sessions, with the squad divided into three pitches to ensure that social-distance requirements were properly met.
Players were told to reach their decorations and go straight to their designated pitch, returning home as soon as the session was over without entering the modified room. They have trained at different times and will follow a similar routine on Saturday.
The reigning champions of La Liga have tweeted that for the first time, sports have been suspended across much of the world due to the viral epidemic they are supposed to have.
