Mr.’s new addition to the irrelevant club is Georgia linebacker Ta Croder, who was selected by the New York Giants as the 255th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The title was irrelevant to the final player selected in the draft and this year the honor was given to Croder.
Crowder finished second in the Bulldogs with t2 tackles last season. He played a key role in the Georgia defense, which ranked first in the season in terms of defense scores and missed defenses, and third in total defense.
He was one of 12 finalists for the Batkas Award given to the country’s top linebacker.
Welcome to Big Blue, Ta Crowder!

In 43 games of Georgia’s career, Croder made 122 total tackles – including 10 for losses – including two interceptions and two erroneous recoveries.
Last year’s Mr. Irrelevant was UCLA’s Tate and Caleb Wilson, who drafted the Arizona Cardinals through the 254th pick.
Wilson did not appear in any NFL games last season and was signed to the Washington Redskins practice team in December.
The first Mr. Irrelevant was the wide receiver Kevin Kirk when he was selected with the Pittsburgh Steelers final pick in 1976.
