Italian Footballers’ Association (AIC) president Damieno Tommaci wants players to undergo at least four weeks of training before the Serie A season resumes.
The clones have been cleared to begin team training in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic, although the expedition was postponed to March, not expected until at least June 15 in Serie A.
More details are expected on May 26, when and when the season will start again.
The players want at least four weeks of training before returning to action, Tommasi said.
“It took at least four weeks of training to survive the injury, although some said six,” he told RAI on Tuesday.
“Intelligence comes first because at the moment you need to be sure of the truth from a medical and health point of view. Footballers need days to find their condition.
“We hope the momentum will pick up in the coming weeks.”
Juventus were one point ahead of Lazio at the top of the table this season.
