Liverpool star Mohamed Salah’s agent has denied the former coach’s claim that Real Madrid tried to sign the forward in 2018.
Former Egyptian international Hani Ramzi said on Saturday that Salah had discussed a method from Madrid with then-national team boss Hector Capar during a training camp in Switzerland in March 2018.
Ramzi told Egyptian television channel OnTimes Sports that he had only joined the coaching staff under Xavier Aguirre, Kapur’s successor, yet he was present and took part in the conversation.
However, Salah’s agent, Radhimi Abbas Isa, denied the allegations on Twitter on Sunday.
“Mohammed did not discuss any career plans with any former coach,” he wrote.
