Xavier Tebas hopes Laliga could return in mid-June amid a coronavirus epidemic.
Laviga was suspended due to the latest COVID-19, which has killed more than 218,000 people worldwide.
Ligue 1 and Eredivisie have ended early in the season and there is uncertainty about when and where the other leagues will start again.
But Labaga President Tebas is optimistic that Spain’s top aircraft will be re-launched in June.
“I hope the league can start again from mid-June,” he told Movistar on Tuesday.
“There is time, there is no need to run. We can start the competition again in June. We have time till June 26.
“We’re looking forward to starting training again. We’ll see the date, but I can see that we can finish the competition, which is very important.”
Barcelona were two points behind Real Madrid when the La Liga season was postponed after 11 matches.
More than 232,100 were confirmed and the death toll exceeded 23,700, with Spain being hit hard by the coronavirus.
