Wednesday was a sad day in the world of professional wrestling. Budget concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic have changed many staffing staff, including the fluoing of several members of the WWU corporate office, and are backstage producers; Backstage workers, writers and most importantly, it’s time to cut back on ring talent.
The veteran is one of the superstars released Wednesday Health Slater. After taking some time off to reflect on her release from the agency, Slater took to Instagram to thank WWE and it has been thanking fans for the past 14 years.
The former SmackDown Tag Team Champion has said that this is not the end of the road for him. Slater said the fire inside him had faded for a while, noting that suppressing others for years could do harm to people. However after his release from the WWE One Man Southern Rock Band says the fire is burning again!
He revealed that July 17 is the official date that he could start working for other promotions, and he said that Encore is coming to his WWE career. In his words, Slater is ready to get into “joke” and return to wrestling better than ever.
Slater became the third member of his old group 3MB to be released from the company. The other two, Draw MacIntyre Zinedar Mahal, both were able to return to WWE to hit the indie scene and undergo massive body changes.
Of course, both men returned to the organization and won the WWE Championship. At SportsCade, we wish health the best we can one day complete the trifecta.
