In today’s episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is accepted Angel Garza Untitled match in the main event. After defeating United States champion Andrade in last week’s episode, Scottish psychopath Jelina Veger turned up against another client.
The superstars both fought back and forth, and in the end, McIntyre Hit Garza with a Claymore kick and finally get the pinfall win. However, during the match, Garza suffered a nasty injury to his forehead as it was exposed.
The former NXT Cruiser Weight Champion shared a photo of his injury on his official Instagram profile. The third-generation Mexican superstar captioned the photo with a caption that said, “Mexicans will never leave!” Garza also added that he is ready for the ‘next one’, indicating that the injury may not be serious and Garza may be fit to match next week.
Drew McIntyre vs. Angel Garza
Just like the previous week, Jellina Vega faced Drew McIntyre in the opening section of RAW tonight with her clients Angel Garza and Austin Theory. The WWE Champion was distracted by the promotion of Vegas and Andrade attacked from behind. However, it didn’t take long for McIntyre to drop with a Claymore kick.
During the match, Garza tried to best McIntyre on his air offense but it was not enough to stop him. Theorie and Andrade also got involved in the match due to confusion but McIntyre cleared them and then ended the match with a thunderous Claymore kick to the roar.
